0 Need For Speed Shift

There has been many ups and downs in the Need for Speed franchise for the last few years, after the success of Need for Speer Mostwanted and Need for Speed Carbon, the franchise lost its charm. For the new twist the game moved on to official tracks which didn’t appeal well, the Need for Speed Prostreet. So to gain the revival of the game something had to be done. EA decided to give the key to Slightly Mad Studios; very those who are behind the PC racing game GTR and they came up with Need for Speed Shift. So would it be enough to revive the lost title?

Indeed, it did pay off. The game has been dexterously put together. By putting together I mean what should be made real and what shouldn’t be. The Slightly Mad provides with a nice racing experience which is real enough regarding the presentation and the controls are arcadey enough for the novice players to coop up with the game.

Unlike the previous titles, there is zero story base, means pure official racing game. The only thing you will find closest to a tale is the voiceover that tells you in the beginning of the game that you have to prove yourself by driving around the Brands Hatch in BMW M3. So basically the game is all about the tracks and stuff like that, which is good.
